THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT A CLAIM IS NOW JULY 31, 2025.

Anyone who received a “Supplemental Notice” document have additional time, through September 22, to submit a claim.

Get no payment. This is the only option that allows you to ever file or be part of any other lawsuit against GM or LG about the legal claims in this case, now or in the future. The deadline to submit a request for exclusion is February 24, 2025.

To object to the terms of the Settlement, you must remain a member of the Settlement Class—you cannot ask to be excluded. You may object to the Settlement by writing to the Court and Counsel (identified in Frequently Asked Question 27) and indicating why you do not like the Settlement. The deadline to object is January 24, 2025.

The Court held a Fairness Hearing on May 19, 2025 at 1:30, to consider, based on the facts and evidence of record to date, whether certification of the Settlement Class is proper; whether the Settlement is fair, adequate, and reasonable; and whether the Settlement should be finally approved. Due to the need to provide supplemental notice to certain class members, the court may or may not proceed with a supplemental hearing on September 29, 2025.
